Dozens of students at the University of Education Ganesha were released by the Rector, Dr. I Nyoman Jampel, M.Pd., on Wednesday (1/9/2019). Those from nine study programs participated in the Teaching Practice Program (PPL) and Job Training (PKL) in the three ASEAN countries for the period January – February 2019. The event was also attended by Deputy Rector IV, Drs. I Wayan Suanajaya, M.A., Ph.D and a number of deans of the departments. Chairperson of the Undiksha Institute for Learning and Quality Assurance Development (LPPPM), Prof. Dr. A.A.I.N. Marhaeni, M.A., said that there were 33 students who participated in the program from six faculties that consists of nine study programs. Since the program has been running from 2016, the number of participants continues to increase. This program collaborates with eight universities spread across Thailand, Vietnam and the Philippines. Students will take part in the program for one month. In addition to this period, selection was also held for the departure of the July-August period which targeted will have 60 participants In addition, Undiksha also received 19 students from a number of universities from ASEAN countries. This program also supports the internationalization of the university launched in 2019. It is hoped that the students who participated will also introduce various things about the university, including the determination of the Tri Hita Karana philosophy which is the foundation of Undiksha’s vision. This program is targeted to expand to a number of countries in Asia, such as China and Taiwan and Australia.
