Singaraja– The University of La Rochelle (ULR) delegations, France, came to Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha (Undiksha) in order to finalize the cooperation related to the Fast-Track Program which had been discussed several months ago. The visit of the ULR President to Undiksha was to sign the cooperation and hold discussions related to the Implementation of the Fast-Track Program. This activity was conducted at the Ganesha 1 Room, Undiksha Rectorate, Thursday (10/24/2024) which was attended by the Rector of Undiksha, Prof. Dr. I Wayan Lasmawan, M.Pd. and the President of La Rochelle Universite, Prof. Jean Marc Ogier. Prof. Lasmawan was accompanied by the Vice Rector for Academic and Cooperation Affairs, Prof. Dr. Gede Rasben Dantes, and the Vice Chancellor for Planning and General Affairs, Prof. Dr. I Wayan Artanayasa, while the ULR President was accompanied by Dr. Chandra Nuraini and Dr. Philippe Grange.
Prof. Lasmawan stated that through this collaboration, the quality of Undiksha graduates can be strengthened and this program would support the Undiksha’s Vision to bean excellent University in Asia by 2045. “This collaboration further strengthens Undiksha’s institutional status as an international reputable university. We hope that this collaboration is not only limited to signing the MoU, but also accompanied by an increase in the quality of programs in the Tri Dharma of Higher Education,” he said.
Meanwhile, Prof. Jean Marc Ogier, President of La Rochelle Universite, warmly welcomed the collaboration. He hopes that this collaboration can provide significant contributions to the development and improvement of the competitiveness of both universities. Moreover, the collaboration between the two universities has been established since 2012.
In this activity, there were also discussions and guidance for students who will be candidates for the Fast-Track program, win which they will go through several stages of selection. The students are students from the Faculty of Languages and Arts, Faculty of Economics and Faculty of Engineering and Vocational who are planned to depart in September 2025. (kerjasama)
