Singaraja- The Faculty of Engineering and Vocational Studies, Ganesha University of Education (FTK-Undiksha) is committed to producing competitive graduates. In line with the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) policy, this is realized through an independent internship program in collaboration with PT. Dago Engineering, Bandung. The student release was held on Friday (2/2/2024).
This program was attended by 17 students who were divided into independent internship activities and research and development programs with the theme “Smart Green Garden”. Undiksha’s Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs and Undiksha Cooperation, Prof. Dr. Gede Rasben Dantes, S.T., M.T.I expressed his appreciation for this program because it can be a space to improve student competence. In the future, this program is expected to be sustainable and followed by other breakthroughs and innovations. In terms of time, it can also be increased with a 3 + 1 scheme, namely three years of student study and 1 year of internship.
Dean of FTK Undiksha, Dr. Kadek Rihendra Dantes, S.T.,M.T said that his party is trying to continuously improve the quality and quantity of the program, including trying to increase student participation and accommodate all study programs.
Meanwhile, President Director of PT. Dago Engineering, Putu Suka Narendra said that the internship cooperation with FTK Undiksha has been running for the past two years. In his evaluation, the quality of Undiksha students was declared to be no less competitive than other universities. Even from the internship program, there are Undiksha graduates who are directly recruited as workers. He also gave a positive response to continue this cooperation as a form of contribution to educational development.
At this meeting, the research and development program location with the theme “Smart Green Garden” was also opened which is located in the Jinengdalem campus area and the signing of cooperation between PT. Dago Engineering and FTK Undiksha.
