Ganesha Education University (Undiksha) has worked with Gateway, Norway to develop the sports field. On Thursday (02 / 07 / 2019), both parties signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). Undiksa Rector Dr. I Nyoman Jampel, M.Pd., said the Faculty of Sports and Health (FOK) continues to develop the sports field. So far, student guidance has been intensively carried out and has had positive results. Some people were able to win achievements nationally and internationally. Through this new collaboration, quality and competitiveness are expected to increase.
Peter Sorrum from Gateway expressed his desire to collaborate with Undiksha regarding the implementation of short courses because of the considerable achievements in various sports. Deputy Dean I of the Faculty of Sports and Health (FOK), Dr. I Ketut Yoda, S.Pd., M.Or., who also assisted to convey that cooperation with foreign parties had been planned for a long time.
Furthermore, in this collaboration, there will be a number of courses that have been selected with a total of 21 credits. Among them are diving, surfing, rafting, futsal, and beach volleyball. There are also supporting subjects, such as recreational sports, learning planning and sports physiology.
