Singaraja – Undiksha received a visit from the Malaysian Jombola Association which also conducted the signing of the Cooperation Document. The activity was led directly by the Vice Rector for Academic and Cooperation Affairs, Prof. Dr. Gede Rasben Dantes, S.T., M.T.I. accompanied by the Dean of the Faculty of Sports and Health, Dr. I Ketut Yoda, S.Pd., M.Or. This activity was held at Ganesha Room 1, Friday (02/28/2025).
In his speech, Prof. Rasben expressed his appreciation to the Malaysian Jombola Association who had looked at Undiksha as a partner in the field of Jombola sports. “It is an honor for Undiksha to be one of the partners of the Malaysian Jombola Association to provide socialization related to this new type of sport. Hopefully, later Undiksha students, especially from Faculty of sport, can become professionals in this field,” he explained.
Meanwhile, Sukdev Singh, as the President of the association expressed his pride in being accepted by Undiksha, which was one of the Great Universities in Bali. “Thank you for the opportunity given by Undiksha so that later we can develop together and Undiksha students can become athletes in this sport,” he said.
He added that Jombola is an economical sport. “This sport is not an expensive sport. Maybe the price of a racket is around 250 thousand rupiah, plus a ball that is not too expensive,” he added.
The Head of the Planning and Cooperation Bureau, Prof. Dr. Komang Setemen, S.Si., M.T., Lecturers from the Faculty of Sports and Health and also the Undiksha Cooperation Unit Team prsented at that moment. (Adm)
