Singaraja- Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha (Undiksha) received a visit from the State Islamic University (UIN) Walisongo, Semarang, Friday (3/15/2024), in Ganesha Room I, Rectorate. This visit also included the signing of cooperation in the field of Tri Dharma of Higher Education.
The UIN Walisongo delegation was led directly by the Chancellor Prof. Dr. H. Nizar, M.Ag., and received by the Vice Chancellor of Undiksha for Academic and Cooperation Prof. Dr. Gedr Rasben Dantes., S.T., M.T.I. In this short meeting, Prof. Nizar conveyed cooperation with other universities, one of which was Undiksha as an effort to mutually strengthen the Tri Dharma program of Higher Education or specifically the superior programs initiated by the university.
One of the activities that he said could be collaborated on was the implementation of the Thematic Community Service (KKN). Through this program, both universities through their students can jointly contribute to supporting village development.
Vice Rectorof Undiksha, Prof. Rasben Dantes also welcomed this collaboration and expected it to have an impact on improving the quality of each university. After this meeting, the programs that will be implemented are expected to be designed immediately.
He further said that Undiksha is currently organizing itself and continuing to improve its quality with various malestones that are made every year while maintaining harmony in it. “This harmony is always the foundation of every activity at Undiksha,” he said.
On this occasion, Prof. Rasben Dantes also conveyed about the study programs owned by Undiksha and the international programs that are currently being run to develop student competencies, such as fast track programs, student exchanges, foreign language courses, and so on. These various programs are certainly useful for providing international experience for the entire Undiksha academic community.
