Singaraja- Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha (Undiksha) discussed and signed a cooperation with Pukyong National University, Korea through a meeting held in Ganesha Room I, Undiksha Rectorate, Thursday (6/15/2023) afternoon. This discussion was attended directly by Undiksha Chancellor Prof. Dr. I Wayan Lasmawan, M.Pd. In his remarks, he conveyed that foreign cooperation for the implementation of the Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi program is one of Undiksha’s programs in order to accelerate the realization of the university’s vision “Becoming a Leading University Based on the Tri Hita Karana Philosophy in Asia in 2045” as well as to realize the Chancellor’s vision, namely making Undiksha an International Reputable University in Education and Leadership (IRUEL).

For this reason, it is hoped that the cooperation with Pokyang National University can run well and be followed by real programs that ultimately provide benefits for both parties.

President of Pokyang National University, Prof. Dr. Youngsoo Jang accompanied by The Provost of International Affairs, Prof. Dr. Hyunwoo Kim also welcomed this collaboration and hoped that it could be implemented sustainably. His party opened up offers of collaboration for various fields, starting from the field of Aquaculture, Chemistry, Social Sciences, Engineering, and so on. The form of the program is not limited to the context of education and teaching, but also collaborative research.

This meeting was also attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA), Vice Dean I of the Faculty of Engineering and Vocational Studies (FTK), Vice Dean III of the Faculty of Law and Social Sciences (FHIS), Representatives of the Nursing Study Program, PGSD Study Program, and the Chairperson of the Undiksha Cooperation Agency and his staff.
